Two Signs Articulated appropriates the visual identities of Western Union, the global money transfer corporation, and Art Basel, the multinational art fair owned by the Swiss marketing conglomerate MCH Group. Western Union and Art Basel are commercial enterprises that operate at polar ends of the global economy but are in fact interdependent. In the installation they have been juxtaposed but also détourned to make them more “legible.”
