Rule of Law: Partners is an installation of sign panels laser-engraved with an endless list of surnames compiled from the names of the world’s largest corporate law firms. The convention of naming a law practice after its partners (a custom common also in other white-collar professions) is drawn out to an absurd degree, while at the same time revealing a deep cultural and corporate conformity.
Study #1 for Associated (Partners) is held in the permanent collection of the M+ Museum, Hong Kong SAR.
